Oktoberfest

So Jon's first stag do was the last day of Oktoberfest, Munich. After a very early start considering the night before we managed to find space in the Hofbrau tent.










There was much laughing chanting and drinking and various combinations of the above.





Also an apparently obligatory session of chase the hats on the dodgems before further drinking in the Hippodrome




An excellent time had by all.

Outside...then smaller...

Ok its not Russian or a doll but once you have charged it (where on earth does a battery that requires three hours charge fit?) it does the magic trick of cramming a few thousand tracks in.

So that is why cameras have a macro mode.

and After...

Still almost looks like new after a clean up. Took the bike for a warm down this weekend. A different route offered easier terrain to stretch the legs out a bit.

Cropton

Another successfull visit to Crotpon. A couple of three successful biking routes through some spectacular scenery and excellent weather for september. Then to Endeavour to drink at least Two Pints of Uncle Sam's Monkman's Slaughter in the Yorkshire Moors all draft.

Test Drive

Took the new bike for a quick route this weekend to eek out any teething troubles before the real test in Cropton. All seemed well except the engine!

New Wheels...

... frame, pedals, gears, seat in fact a whole new bike. The Trek 6000 will hopefully serve me as well as the Specialized Hard Rock that it replaces after a long service.
